Malarie’s professional journey in hairdressing started at 15, with an early focus on colour that would define her career. After beginning as a junior apprentice, her strong work ethic and skill set led her to prominent roles in Melbourne’s most renowned salons. She became Colour Technical Director and Educator at Joey Scandizzo Salon and Principal Colourist at Rokk Ebony, refining her craft and gaining recognition as a leader in the field.
Her unwavering dedication to the industry is reflected in her work, with many clients consistently praising her expertise. After 16 years of helping others bring their dreams to life, Malarie decided it was time to create her own vision—leading to the formation of HairByMalarie. What started as a small space within a charming skin clinic quickly flourished, and within just one year, the growing demand prompted a move to a new location in the Paris end of Fitzroy Street, St Kilda, Melbourne. Now, after ten years in this thriving space, Malarie is excited to turn the page and embark on the next chapter of her journey.

I cannot accept messages left on Sundays, Mondays or public holidays as sufficient notice.
In failure to do so, you will be charged 100% of your scheduled service.
